Chapter 25

Destroyed Zone, Salvage, and Recovery

25.1Destroyed Zone Overview

The Destroyed Zone represents assets that have been eliminated from the battle.

When a non-Core unit or building is destroyed, place it in its owner’s Destroyed Zone.

Assets in the Destroyed Zone cannot normally be trained, built, summoned, deployed, or used again.

25.2 Worker Exception

Workers follow the Worker Limit rules.

Players may always train back up to 3 Workers if they have the resources, Supply, and production capacity to do so.

Purchased Worker capacity can be lost to the Destroyed Zone.

25.3 Command Center Exception

Command Centers do not permanently enter the Destroyed Zone.

When a Command Center is destroyed, remove it from the Battlefield.

It may be rebuilt by an eligible Worker if the player can pay the cost and meet placement requirements.

25.4 Returning From the Destroyed Zone

An asset may only return from the Destroyed Zone if a rule specifically allows it.

A returned asset usually moves from the Destroyed Zone to the Deployment List unless the rule says otherwise.

25.5 Destroyed Zone and Victory Points

Destroyed assets may award Victory Points depending on the mission.

Workers and Command Centers may still award Victory Points when destroyed even if they do not permanently remain in the Destroyed Zone.
